Hi, I just started playing this game for the PS2. I have a Blockbuster by Mail account that I used to rent movies and last week they added video games at no extra charge so after looking at YouTube, I wanted to try NBA 2K10 because it looked really fun.

Anyways, yes I know that the PS3/360 versions are better than this one. But I was able to borrow a PS2 from my friend, whereas I'd have to spend $300 or more on a PS3 or XBox 360, so I'm trying the PS2 version of NBA 2K10 for now. I have a lot of questions.

First question:

On the wikipedia page for this game it says you can save a game while you're currently playing it. For example, it's the middle of the 2nd Quarter you can save it and come back and play it again tomorrow. But I can't find that option for the PS2 game. How do I save right in the middle of the game? Or is that not available for the PS2 version?

Thanks, clearkanal.

Also it's better to shoot with the shot stick than using the square button right? Sorry if these questions are too simple but I just started playing this game.

Thankw, lw.

How can I improve my transition defense? My guys seem slow to get back and I'm giving up easy baskets that way. It's annoying and I don't see a slider in the game that I can use to improve that.
