I want to play online, but everytime i try to connect to the online button, it kind of freezes. When I test the connection, it worked. It only freeze if I try to play the game online. I don't think there is anything wrong with my internet. Can someone help me with it. It freezes on a black screen with a logo on it.

If you have a pirated copy (like me), you need to find the ntsc/pal dnas and patch the 2k9 iso and then reburn it to a dvd. Either that or you're trying to play a game off of your ps2 hdd online, which will not work at all

Yup what DIZZAY said.
But if you are using a pirated copy of NBA 2K9 then it shouldn't freeze it should just say that your DNAS code is invalid or something like that.

Make sure you're not playing your game of HDD.
