How do I use the dual player mode

I always see the green circle come up under my player when I hit L2, but I don't know how to use it. My friend said that if I hit dual player and then up on the d-pad, the selected player will do a basket cut. Can someone break down all of the functions

left-screen/get open
right-post up
up-i forgot sorry/

up= cut deep down in the paint

this is very effective especially if you want to put an opponent in foul trouble. just send the player he's guarding if cpu plays man to man. then use pump fake. . .

I'm playing 2k10 with the denver nuggets. i signed austin croshere for 400k. he scored 65 pts. HOF.
I just send him deep by the up button then pass the ball to the Center or Sforward then to Austin. it's a very effective play, like a small triangle offense in the paint. he converted a lot of and ones. he made 32/33 from the free throw line. FT difficulty is 15. Big guys fouled out. nyahaha

you can also play cheeser moves if you have a good dunker.

i hope we don't have to cycle around teammates in 2k10 if ever they will release it for ps2. i find it time consuming just to highlight the right teammate. i think it would be better if we can just hold L2 down and then press the corresponding button as we would do an icon pss. this is called "icon" dual player. hehehe
