Is changing the team sliders considered cheating?

My cousin (The 1 who uses the celtics) changes his sliders, so out of curiosity, I adjusted the Heats' sliders to be comparable with the Celtics and then played the comp. I ran off on them by 45 points. Is this considered cheating? I asked this because I like the heat playing on a 60 or 70 tempo rather than 25, and also, increasing their defensive pressure. Also, I tried saving my team sliders so that they would load each time I play, but no dice. It automatically resets. Is it possible to save?

well for me its not an absolute cheating.
im just not comfortable changing those stuffs cause i believe that 2k developers has all the factors needed to determine those things.
